Congratulations to Waipahu Public Library for being chosen as the site for the Memorial honoring 260K Filipino and Filipino Americans who fought in WWII. Nearly 75 years after the conclusion of the war, they were honored in 2017 with the Congressional Gold Medal - the nation's highest civilian honor.
